Day 01: Cusco – Wayllabamba:
Morning transfer in regular bus from hotel to KM 82 and trek to Wayllabamba. Camp. (L-D).
Day 02: Wayllabamba – Pacaymayo:
Trek to the Abra Warmihuañusca (Dead Woman’s Pass) and descend into the Pacaymayo valley (3600 masl), where you will camp after approximately 6h of hiking. (B-L-D).
Day 03: Pacaymayo – Wiñay Wayna:
Trek to Runkurakay and Phuyupatamarca, (3970 masl) visit the archaeological complexes and continue onto Wiñay Wayna (2700 masl). Camp (B-L-D).
Day 04: Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu:
Early morning, cross to Intipunku the last pass, arrive to Machu Picchu, tour of the Sanctuary, rest of the day free and travel by shuttle bus to Aguas Calientes and return by train to Ollanta and regular bus transfer to Cusco. (B).

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING/CARRY:
Backpack, with a change of clothes for the whole period of the trek. T shirts, shorts and some warm clothes. Recommended max 6 kilos for your personal belongings.
Strong, comfortable footwear.
Sweater and jacket (something warm).
Water bottle and purification tablets (Micropur are recommended and can be bought in local pharmacies in Cusco).
Flashlight and batteries.
Hat or cap to protect you from the sun.
Sun block (sun protection cream), insect repellent.
Toiletries, towel and toilet paper.
Camera, plenty of film and spare batteries.
One complete change of clothing (you can afford to carry more changes of clothing if you hire a personal porter).
Optional: walking sticks or poles (rubber covers required).
PASSPORT: Pls note that you must bring your original passport (which was given when making the reservation for the trail).
Without this you will not be allowed by the authorities to enter onto the trek
